HI, I’M MOrgan
Growing up, I was obsessed with love stories; the messy ones, the soft ones, the heart-wrenching ones tucked inside rom-coms and dog-eared paperbacks. Enemies to lovers. Slow burns. Invisible strings tying two people together long before they realize it.
I was the kid constantly daydreaming, convinced every passing moment held cinematic meaning. There was even a phase where I thought I’d grow up to write romance novels. Thankfully, I didn’t pursue that path but I also never stopped telling love stories.
Photography became the place where all of that longing and wonder had somewhere to live. It became a visual language for something I’ve always understood instinctively — that love, in all its forms, deserves to be witnessed with care. I still believe every love story should be told as if it’s the greatest one ever written. Because to the people living it, it is.

What makes me me
I believe weddings are meant to be lived, not staged. My work centers on helping couples feel safe, supported, and fully themselves so their photographs reflect how the day actually felt, not how it was posed. Presence is what creates imagery that lasts beyond trends.

I am drawn to the in-between: the exhale before the aisle, the way hands instinctively find each other, the quiet tears no one else sees. Through documentary wedding photography and a hybrid digital and film approach, I preserve stories with depth, texture, and truth.
My work is colorful, nostalgic, and refined but never performative. Every frame is created with intention, emotional awareness, and an understanding that these images will become heirlooms.
I picked up my first film camera over 15 years ago, and it immediately felt like home. Since then, I’ve followed a quiet love for preserving images through nostalgia. Today, as a Virginia wedding photographer specializing in documentary and film wedding photography, that early connection to film still shapes the way I approach every couple I photograph.
Long before this became my career, I was the girl romanticizing ordinary moments. I’ve always believed there is something sacred in the way people connect — with each other and with the world around them. The invisible threads tying two lives together. The quiet understanding that doesn’t need words.
Film taught me patience. It taught me to slow down and wait for what’s real instead of forcing it. That philosophy continues to guide my approach to documentary wedding photography, allowing me to create imagery that feels emotionally honest, intentional, and timeless.
