Why I Photograph Weddings
I believe wedding photography is about preserving connection.
Not perfection. Not trends. Connection.
As a second generation wedding photographer, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when couples feel safe enough to be fully themselves. That’s when the magic happens. When you forget the camera is there. When your day unfolds naturally.
My role isn’t to control your wedding. It’s to protect the space for you to experience it fully and document it as it really was.
I photograph weddings using a blend of digital cameras, film photography, and camcorder footage to create imagery that feels nostalgic and emotionally rich. Film adds softness and texture. Camcorder adds motion and memory. Digital preserves clarity and color.
Together, they create a wedding gallery that feels like a time capsule; something you’ll return to for decades.
Whether I’m photographing a Virginia wedding, an East Coast celebration, or a destination wedding in Alaska, my focus is always the same: honest storytelling and intentional imagery that outlives trends.
